General Terms & Conditions

Using the service

These General Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Digital State Health website and its account, plan-selection, checkout and identity-verification features. They apply to the website experience, not to the insurance cover itself.

A product’s policy wording, schedule, certificate and any approved endorsement remain the documents that govern eligibility, cover, exclusions, claims, cancellation and other insurance rights. If there is a difference between these General Terms and an insurance document, the insurance document applies to that insurance matter.

Your account and information

You must provide accurate, current information when you create an account, select cover, add family members or complete identity verification. This can include your name, contact details, CNIC, date of birth, gender and the details of people you ask to cover.

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly through the available support channels if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for information and documents submitted from your account.

Information and documents

We use the information you provide to create and manage your account, prepare an order, process identity verification, issue and service insurance where applicable, prevent misuse, and meet legal or regulatory requirements.

For verification, the application may ask for a CNIC or passport copy and supporting details. Upload only documents requested for your order, make sure they are clear and readable, and do not upload another person’s documents unless you are authorised to provide them.

Cookies and device storage

The application uses a locale cookie to remember the language you select and an authenticated session cookie to keep you signed in. These are needed for core website functions such as language routing and access to your account.

Your browser may also store a theme preference and a limited account summary on this device. During certain card-payment flows, temporary payment-return information may be kept for the current browser session so the application can continue after bank authentication. Disabling cookies or browser storage may affect sign-in, language, checkout or payment-return functionality.

Orders and payments

The plan, covered members, optional benefits and premium shown during checkout form the basis of your order. We may require you to review declarations or provide further information before payment or verification can continue.

Card payment is handled through the payment gateway’s hosted payment fields and supported payment methods may also be offered through a payment provider. The application works with payment references and session information needed to complete the order; do not send card details through forms, email or support messages.

Identity verification

A paid order may remain pending while identity information and documents are reviewed. A payment confirmation is not, by itself, confirmation that a policy has been issued or activated.

If corrections are needed, we may make the latest submission and reviewer feedback available in your account and notify you using the contact details associated with the order. Submit the requested correction through the verification page for that order.

Acceptable use

Use the application only for legitimate enquiries, purchases and account servicing. Do not submit false, misleading or unauthorised information; interfere with the service; try to access another person’s account; or use the application in a way that could harm its security or availability.

Changes and contact

We may update these General Terms when the application, its features or applicable requirements change. The current version published on this page applies from the date it is made available, subject to any notice required by law.

For an order, payment or verification question, use the official State Life support channels and include the order reference where available. For questions about insurance cover, refer to the applicable policy document as well as the product information shown before purchase.
